Nasopharyngeal carcinoma encasing ICA

Axial T2 sections at the level of skull base show asymmetry of naso pharynx, obliteration of left side lateral pharyngeal recess by a neoplastic soft tissue, the region of fossa of Rosenmuller (yellow asterisks)
Histopathology proven : Nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
An associated abnormal marrow signals in adjacent clivus (green asterisks), intra cranial extension seen as a right para sellar soft tissue (red asterisks) obliterating cavernous sinus and encasing right ICA cavernous portion.
